Just like the title says, I was wondering what the difference between the two are. I looked up the gear rations on google and they're both the same. They both had the LSD option. So what are the differences?

 

i dont know about the Y1,but the jdm S1 has some short gearing man.

not good for the freeways or top speed,but nice for getting around town.

So what are the differences?</TD></TR></TABLE>the difference is in whether the S1 is USDM or JDM - the JDM is geared lower - none of the USDM cable B-series transmissions had LSD

 

All S-1's whether they were USDM or JDM had 4.40 final gears. The y-1's came with 4.27 finals.
