so i noticed that occasionally when i drive around and tap the brakes, my deck resets and so does my clock. is there some known bad wiring that might cause this?

 

i would check your wiring under the dash.. make sure there arent any lose wires, or lose fuse's

 

check ur connections at the batt.

 

well, i had the problem fixed for awhile. i removed a leftover amp wire that was on bare metal and that seemed to fix it. put a stereo in and everything was fine for a few weeks but now its doing it again. when i tap the brakes or im on the brakes, my deck will sometimes go off and on, and rarely my car's clock will reset at the same time as the deck. this is really starting to **** me off. all my wires to my brake lights have been check, battery connections, stereo and deck wires... im really lost.

 

could this MAYBE be a bad main relay? 1/100 times i turn the key over nothing happens like there is no battery. turn back off, then on and it starts fine
