no its not... but it wont be a problem either since you will be most of the time over 5k and u running c-16 gas plus does spike seem more to be wide band error reading than a real one... anyways u should try to clean that up

read the chart. it never went over 12.7 AFR and that was before boost. it spikes at vtec crossover and then drops into the mid / low 11's. i cant get the spike to go away so it will stay, not gonna hurt anything at 12.6:1 before its in power especially on 116.

Try disabling VTEC, tuning for a solid AFR through boost, then setting VTEC really low and doing the same thing. Should smooth out your lean spike at VTEC engagement.

Yes, CLEARLY there is absolutely no spike in AFRs at 5200 rpms and 10psi in the dynograph that he posted.

yeah but compare it against the boost plot - he is only making like 5 psi at that point (except for the vtec leanout)

Exactly. No where on that chart does it hit anywhere near "low 13's" and if you looked at the final tuned run (blue), the vtec spike is more like a slight hump that barely cracks low 12's. Granted, it'd be nice to tune it out, but let me know when a 12.2 for 1/10th of a second at low rpm and only 10psi on 116 octane really matters.

Gah, SON OF A BITCH! I've been looking at red this whole time, didn't even notice that blue was the final run. Sorry, my mistake.
I had the same issues at VTEC engagement, lean spike, what I said above fixed it for me. You may also want to look at your low cam timing in boost as you're getting a pretty decent torque jump with that VTEC engagement too.
Car makes great power though, and it looks like it will keep going if you wanted to build the head a bit and rev it higher.

Yeah, it's the interpolation of values on the high and low maps at the crossover point that can cause momentary leanout.
Tuning the non vtec map, then the vtec map with the crossover low is the ideal way to find the optimum vtec crossover point.

ill try for some better ones tommorrow night. these came out shitty. my buddy kept saying stop short shifting and i was too exited/nervous to realize i was shifting at like 7K except the last one i ripped it hard but he wasnt recording. gotta get some race gas im on 1/4 tank and this thing ******* guzzles. gotta do some part throttle tuning soon.
this thing is fun as hell though, cant wait to get some tire and get traction before 4th
