Default Enkei Wheels

I just found this listing on craigslist.com http://cosprings.craigslist.org/pts/355523611.html

So i went and looked up the rim on line. Heres what i found, think theese are the ones http://www.enkei.co.jp/en/p_detail_wteforg.html

My question is are these rims worth $500? Would they look decent on a silver em2?(seen em2's with white rims but never silver ones) Are they WRC Tarmac Evo rims even? if not where could i found white kinda rims they are? Any idea of weight?

Thank you all for help hope i can get some help on this.

To me, they look like fakes. Check the difference between the spokes (Enkei is tapered a little) and markings. I would ask for more pics for authenticity. Other than that, it's a deal for brand new wheels (if they are legit). BTW, forged wheels are supposed to be of better quality and MORE EXPENSIVE... which also makes me question the price.

If he has the original boxes, how can he not know the model name of the wheel? Smells fishy to me too.

They're probably the Non-Forged model. The way the spokes mount to the lip don't appear the same as the forged model, plus Forged Evo's come in only 17". So, I'd say they're legit Non-Forged Tarmec Evo's. Worth $500? If they're new in box, then yes they are.

Thanks for all the help with that. Im going to call him up tonight and post up what he says.

I am just hoping i can get him lower as im broke.

Hey on a side note for all of you that live in northern virginia, I need some advise on something. Back in november i received a ticket for $35 for going 6 over in colorado (first 5 minutes in the state ) This ticket was when i was 17. in december i got a ticket for $45 becasue of exesive speed due to conditions (45 when he said i should have been doing 40) this was when i was 18. I paid both tickets off within 5 days and i had no problem what so ever with it, Untill now. Virginia sent me a letter saying i have to attened driving classes becasue of theese tickets and if i dont do it by august 9 my license will be suspened. i got a 2nd letter saying the same thing a day latter. One for each ticket. Only problem they say the classes have to be taken in virginia and im in colorado in the army. I have tryed calling the 3 numbers they gave me but none work no matter when i call. They sent theese letters to me june 13th.

What can i do? what do you all think i should do? any help at alli can get would be great.

That sounds like a scam to me. I've never heard of a class requirement due to tickets. I've heard of people going to defensive driving school to remove points off of their license, but not because they were required to.

Yeah, that's pretty dang awful. California has strict car requirements, and Virginia has strict license requirements. Thank goodness I live in the USA.

wait last time i check matt, VA was the USA too and yes, they made me take a driving improvement class when I had tickets too. If you get ANY moving violation tickets when you are under 18, you will NEED to take driving improvement classes

Yeah, that's the point I was making. That the USA has some pretty strict rules.
