96 accord h-22 swapped!
i just recently bought a 96 accord with a h-22 v-tec swap, it has a msd sport compact box, blaster 3 coil, aem long cold air intake, under drive pulleys, and dc header with full length 2.5 inch exhaust with resinator. T the problem i'm heving is that when i'm accelarating @ about 4k-4.5k it bogs or cuts out then comes back pretty strong.i was thinking that maybe the v-tec was supposed to kick in @ 4500 rpm maybe?? i'm not sure. I do know that i looked at the computer it has a tag tapped to it that says its out of a 94 accord. Any help would be appreciated.
not sure what the specs are. what kind of performance should i expect outta this setup it just doesn't seem very powerlul. or maybe its just me i dont know.

well like i said at first i bought the car like this and it has a tag on the computer that says its out of a 94 accord now i dont know to much about accords did they put h-22's in jdm accords?
ok so what are u saying is u are using a 94 accord vtec computer running the h22 motor that is not goin to work if u are doin that u need the p13 or the p28 and u will have to have the ecu chipped (p28). The motor that u have was it an automatic motor and u convert it over to manual. Or was it just a manual motor.
im not sure about if it was a automatic or manual. my computer is a poa ecu which came out of a 94-95 accord ex. i figured out that the v-tec is kickin on @2500 rpm so i unpluged the v-tec it revs smooth all the way thru i dont know what would cause it to kick on that soon but i know its not supposed to come on that early. oh yeah doesn't a p28 come in the civic ex sohc. that computer will run a h-22 i just figured i needed a ecu out of a prelude with a h-22
