a few questions about performance
hey ive got a few questions here... first off i drive a 2000 LS with an AEM short ram intake and custom cat back exhaust with no resonator and a 5zigen muffler. i noticed my throttle linkage was pretty loose and someone told me if i tighten it too much i loose some speed on the top end, is he on crack or is that true? anyway how much should i tighten it? second i also heard that without a resonater i can loose some horsepower, is that true? i didnt notice much of a difference either way when i did my exhaust just that it gets up to speed a little faster. and finally how much of a gain could i expect from a nice header set?
well unfortuently where i live there arent any dynos, i might be able to get on the dyno at my school (universal technical institute) but does anyone know how much I should tighten my throttle linkage?

charts don't show it all.
charts can be so off, we all know this.
You should notice a slight pickup with I/H/E, but don't expect to be beating people here and there. The real power comes in motor work or boost.
