stock or not..u will still rub the inner parts of yer suspension possibly and your gas mileage will suck, gearing, acceleration will be off, speedometer will be off.........it is the wrong size for your car...PERIOD!

i would sell those wheels/tires and get used ones w/ the correct size tires.

was i being a dick? haha

guess u can learn the hard way and have a wack looking and crappy handling car.

check tirerack.com and they will tell u the correct size tires and that list i posted was correct.

and 205/50 will still be the wrong size

Okay to answer your question, yes you can run a 205/55/15 w/out rubbing on an EG. I've done it. But Jenkins is right, the proper tire size for that wheel is a 195/50/15

im not concerned about accelration, as its a stock civc...so a little slower wont hurt

If they come on the wheels you're buying, and you're not paying more for the wheels with tires than you would for the wheels with no tires, then it's like getting free tires; go ahead and give them a try. Keep in mind that your actual speed will be 5.4 percent more than your odometer and speedometer shows, so don't get a ticket using them. When you wear them out, replace them with the proper size tires, which is 195/50-15 as OJ noted.
