I Hate Accords: Well, I hate mine
damn car sucks. went to the track tonite, and ran a 75 shot, but i couldnt get any traction. runnin 14.7's @ 101mph spinning the tires in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. that wasnt even the problem. on the last run, heard a rattling noise comin from the hood, pulled it off and checked for the noise. I think i blew the clutch, or lost a spring on the clutch because the car will NOT go into any gear. when i try to start it up in gear, it jerks forward and stalls like the clutch is not working. hence my guess that the clutch went. anyone have any ideas??? and anyone have a stock clutch or pressure plate for a 95 lude tranny?
Im gonna sell the accord for 6.5k if anyone wants it after i get the clutch fixed. it is a 93 accord dx with 95 jdm h22a. mods are: msd 6al, fidanza lightened flywheel, act street disc and xtreme pressure plate, stock lsd in tranny, greddy sp catback exhaust, jdm header, aem short ram intake, H&R race springs, tokico blue struts, front and rear dc strut bars, dc lower strut bar, zex nitrous kit with purge kit and bottle, and rechipped ECU, also has 98 preldue seats in front, and 93 lude front seats in the rear.
if you want specific parts, email me and ill see if i will part them.

yeah. too much time and too much money. i put over 8k into that car in parts and labor and what not. i am so fed up with it now, i cant take it anymore. i knew the track was a bad idea tonite. oh well.
these are the things you have to deal with when you decide to mod your car i guess...it's the same value no matter what mods you have...sorry to hear about your car though...but it seems like you'd be losing a lot more money by selling it than just replacing the clutch...i'd just fix the clutch if i were you and keep the thing!
im gonna fix the clutch, but i am tired of having to tow it home. i would have been much happier if i would have left it stock and just drove it around. looks like ill be riding the gsxr around for a while
just take a deep breath and you'll feel better tomorrow. if i were you, id just change the clutch and stay away from the track. you have too much money invested in your accord already and it would be a waste to sell it off just a faulty clutch. good luck. have one on me.
Drag racing is just bad for the car. That's probably why I don't do it. Hondas aren't built for that ****.
You should loose the nitrous and get into track events. Honda's are built for that!

Check the clutch master cylinder for fluid before getting the clutch changed. If it is empty, make sure that the slave cylinder is not leaking. I had the same problem. Only $50 instead of $300.
