hey my friend has a 89 civic std with the d15b2 engine. the motor sucks. im blaming most of that on the shitty intake manifold that they come with. i have an intake manifold off a 92-95 civic ex. it is 100 percent bare tho, meaning no fuel rail, injectors, sensors, throttlebody, nothing. i was wondering if it is possible, and even worth trying to put that intake manifold on the d15 and how i would go about this. what will i need to complete the job, like gaskets injectors and such. and about how much would it cost to do it myself with the cost of parts and such. thanks alot!
Your best bet is to go with an d16a6 complete intake manifold with sensors, injectors and throttle body, just ask around in the classifeds heres a recent sample one:

you could try to comple the intake manifold you have now but may be time and money consuming. You'll have to convert to MPFI also heres some links

it would be worth converting to MPFI and getting an Si transmission to go along with it instead of the 4 spd.
