Ok, I'm having real trouble with this one. My girlfriend has a set of webs painted bronze. They came that way, the color is perfect .... but turns out the guy who painted them before we bought them neglected to use primer. Now she's got huge chips, the paint is cracking in places, it's quite a shame.
The question posed is this: Who makes a decent bronze spray paint?
Before you say "Duplicolor Wheel Paint" .... don't. I've used it, it always comes out slightly rough because of the massive amount of glitter in it. It's like using goddamn texture paint.
So please, let me know what you've used, or if you have some sort of trick to make the Duplicolor Wheel Paint come out glass-smooth.

If you do, EXTREMELY light coats of Duplicolor and do high wetsands in between the coats and then hit it with clear, it'll come out real nice.
It takes time though, you have to make sure you do REAL light coats.

I think I found a better alternative:
Rust-Oleum Stop Rust Metallic - Antique Brass.
I'll post some results eventually.
