Honda Civic 99 D16Y7 Is It Ground? or is It ECU?
My car turns over, ignition sparks on all 4 but doesn't fire so,
I checked my fuel injectors and found that they're not getting a power signal.
What's the best way to test wire connections and continuity?
Is there a way to test the ecu without buying a new one?
Jet Performance product upgrade has been done!
Ok here is the deal I found out that I have a canadian civic
the ecu is part number #37820-P2E-C12 Vs USA part number#
37820-P2E-A12 What's the difference?

check the main relay. it is on the pass side in the dash. you have to open the glove box all the way. see if you hear it click twicw when the ignition is turned on, dont crank the engine over while doin this though. if you dont hear click..(3 sec later)..click once more. that might be your problem. also see if you can hear your fuel pump ingage.
Thanks great sugestions, but I'm getting fuel pressure and I can hear the main relay engaging and the fuel pump is running. Just no power to injectors!! I called Jet Performance to see if they could test the ECM for me, I told them I was willing to pay even. Figures they can't!!! How in the world do you replace a chip and have no way to test the computer. If that's they're customer service I recommend to never upgrade your ECM with Jet Performance. Huge waste of money!!!
I called around and one of the ECM resellers told me that he has seen this issue before when dealing with Jet Performance Products and civics. Exact words were "Fuel Injectors with no power" So at this point I have to Eliminate the ECM.
It's always a process of elimination I'm down to ECM, and Wiring
I stiil need to figure out the difference between 37820-P2E-A12 and 37820-P2E-C12 ECM models

Okay it runs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found a ground under the driver seat that was corroded fixed that and to my delight I'm now getting power to the injectors. It still wouldn't fire because gas wasn't getting through the injectors. So I tried spraying gas down the throttle body and it started to fire but it didn't start at first. I tried that a few times, until finally is started right up with a ton of smoke, remember it sat awhile but it cleared. Sweet runs like new. I know I trashed Jet PP but I'm still not impressed with there actions. Come on! I'm a .net Software Engineer... How &$)#$) hard is it to plug in a board in if you have the tools to check system routines. Even though I didn't need it, it would have helped eliminate that scenario even when a customer was willing to pay for the test..... If someone ever reads this post that could explain it better, I'm sure allot of us would appreciate it because I found my problem without going out and replacing everything!!!!!
