I finally got my car finished. from all the threads i am sure that i will need a nhra license for 135+ mph.

i got my physical now 6 runs.

Anyone got any ideas?????

 

I have gotten my physical and I am going to the Atlanta ORSCA race in July to make my 6 passes.

you can probably do some runs at that 1/8th mile track down there. And then finish your 1/4's at some local test and tune nights. Check Famoso in Bakersfield i think they have some T & T nights coming up

 

call a local track and set it up. You need to have your paper work in asap. Make sure you get copies of your time slips and all your paper work!

Go to Irwindale and get the licensing done there.

you have this thursday and the next thursday to get it done.

 

i am thinking about irwindale. let me see whats going on. anyone else want to meet up on thursday????

 

if all goes well we may be out there doing some testing in our AM crx

mr choi, let me know if you like any help. lacr is good enough for the passes. i can make sure it is prepped good for you.

 

If anyone wants to go to Irwindale, I'll be out there testing. I can sign your passes off for you. Just let me know in advance.

 

Gary, Irwindale is the place to do it. For the license we need, you can do all of your passes on an 1/8 mile. Get there EARLY though. It might take two Thursdays to get all your runs in. They were super cool when I did mine, the tech inspector signed off as one of my witnesses, and he helped me find another driver to sign off for the other.

i spoke with the techs from famoso they almost 98 % gaurantee all passes in one friday night test and tune and 99% all passes on a saturday test and tune. just a lil info

Are they doing cage cert's at Famoso also?

 

what were the timesforthe 1/8 mile? is it 6.30 or 6.50??? cuz thats too fast right???

 

Its 6.30s and very few have done that in sfwd.

 

still need 2 more runs for my license, car stuck waiting on liberty trans, already committed to vegas trip, not gonna miss it , guess i'll leave truck/trailer and drive the 05 accord from va , maybe brackets CRAAZY??
