this pronanly isnt a correct section to ask this, but im a new member and cant seem to post on the marketplace. Do i need a certain post count ? or is it a time thing? just curious i have some things to buy and sell thanks

There are no restrictions on your account, so you shouldn't have any problems posting in the Marketplace. Just make sure you're trying to post in the regular member's Markeplace and not in the Sponsors Marketplace (which is only for sponsors to post ads in).
