these are reverse mesh w/ a flat non-stepped lip
i have also noticed the lips on the reverse above have tiny little steps at the edge w/ a bead and some have fully rolled lips like these :

this is an original pair of formula mesh, notice the step in the lip?
when u are looking at meshies in +25 or higher it is harder to notice the difference in which lips they are unless they are very wide.
and another shot of OG formula meshies:

full reverse has baby lips like these :

formula and reverse mesh have two different types of barrels. rev has a non stepped lip and the formula has a stepped lip.. i have only noticed the rolled lips on the reverse..it might have been for a newer production date.

One last type of SSR wheel distinction remains. Full Reverse.
Reverse:

FULL Reverse:

Full reverse wheels have 16" centers on 15" wheels. The standard reverse has a 1/2" gap all around between the face and the true lip surface.
The disadvantage of the full reverse is that the lip appears smaller because the small step is hidden. The advantage is the larger face design.
There are full reverse mesh all the way up to 17". Most of the Takechi Project (superfin, supermesh) seem to be full reverse.</TD></TR></TABLE>
