p30 ecu run without knock?

read on another forum that some guy is running a p30 ecu with no knocksensor and it aint throwing no codes. is this mainly cuz the p30 doesnt look for a knock sensor?

most probably a chipped(knock disabled) P30

reason i ask i have a p30 with no knock sensor but my p30 has a stock b16 chip in it.

european p30's don't look for a knock sensor.

what's the code on the ecu? "p30-xxx"
