I've seen it before, and I totally agree with the logic behind it, but I would like to know if there are others doing it. I could save like $140 here, and it seems completely logical to do it. One downside could be that a drag slick grows a little bit when spun quickly. Therefore, I would have to get a slick that is roughly 1 to 1.5 inches shorter than my street tires so that the front tires will level out near top end in order to reduce the possibility of the car wanting to steer or pull itself to the side while going down the track. LOL

Anyhow, did the car pull to one side at all when going down the track, or when launching?

Oh yeah, forgot to tell you... make sure you take out the axle on the side that doesn't have the slick on it too... it'll 60' better..

if you are serious, the open diff will send the power to the path of least resistence. and burn the radial. but if you are being an ***, it would be really funny looking.
