well finally broke a gear on the dyno. 4th went . for those that have done the same what exactly broke cause all the other gears felt good with no grind so it doesnt seem like it shreded the teeth.
On all the 7 sets of gears that have gone in my car, it still drove in all the other gears without any issue. Not recommended, but in mine, the teeth sheared off and fell to the bottom of the case and didn't get in the way of the shifting.
Time for some love......

Same for me, I broke a 4th gear on RLZ's Dynapak a year and a half ago and then at the track in December another 4th gear. I got rid of the junk PG Cuff too. When I ran at the track I thought about running the car just to get 1/8 mile times then realized their is a bunch of metal floating around in there SO not a good idea so I put her on the trailor.

this was on our awd mustand dyno witch i would think is more stress any any other dyno due 2 being on 2 rollers.
trying to get ready for a small event at moroso on sat of all things.
oh well car still made over 600whp at only 7600rpm so who knows were it was going to go up 2.
gunna try & pull it out tomorrow night after work is done, got some spare parts from previouse breaks, dont think ive fixed 4th yet so i might be luckey thier.
