Default Buying a GSR

I am trying to find a cleaner gsr, maybe needing a little tlc, or having some high miles, but for the most part, a good clean, good runner. and stock. Hard to find though, anyone know of a good place to look for gsr's for sale? My bro had a gsr for a while, and then he sold it. im eager to get back into switching.

Good luck, it's gonna be hard to find a good one. Autotrader.com is a pretty good place to start.

Obviously, most people beat on them, especially the younger crowd...

like said, craigslist, or autotrader

Yeah most of them are either beat to crap or salvage titles in my price range. The price people want for their gsr's in Washington State is rediculous. I go onto Kelly Blue Book and NADA and people are asking 7 grand for a gsr with 170 thousand miles... Its worth around 3. Im very discouraged now, might have to settle for another SUV

sorry but a clean gsr with 170,000 miles is not something you will see for $3000 any time soon.

Blue Book and NADA are good guides, but they don't determine market price. The demand is still high for a gsr, hence the (still) high prices. Even with high miles... with proper care they will last far longer than that.

The trick is obviously finding the non-beat ones. Hard to do, but they exist. Best of luck.
