Default Wheel and Drop question.

I have a 06 SI coupe and i'm thinking about dropping and getting some new rims. I was leaning towards the Eibach sportlines but i need to know which offsets that would best fit the wheels i will be getting. Ill originally sit on the stock rims for a while, but i will be getting the volk gtu 18x8 all around.

Which offsets would i need for it not to have any rubbing issues?

Thanks for any help.

Well, in the drop part of the question, I have an EX Coupe and used the Tein S-Tech's. They look great, the install was flawless (2hrs max and you are done!), and its a nice subtle drop (about 1.5" for your Si).
The wheels, well Im workin' on that too! Confused? Yes!

35 offset with a 215-235 tire u can rock on 18'x8's @ 1.5/1.75 inches.

The drop on the stock 17'' rims are not an issue. Seedharvest has the eibach sportlines on there and he said they are perfect. Thats my only problem if they are sitting well on 17's will it ride as well as if they were on 18's? I really know nothing about the offsets and what not. Just asking for some input, because you fellow members might have greater knowledge on this topic than i do.

If you are going to put 18's on then you will need an offset of 45+ depending on the rim. Usually nothing lower than that. I hope that helps you. I have a 2007 FA and its sitting on 18x7.5 with a plus 45 offset and the rubber is 225/40 18 inch

Also I use the K-sport 36 way adjustable coilover and I have a tucked in drop. I had to remove the front fender line clip to aviod rubbing. If I raise the car up then I will not need to remove that clip then.
