Default A/C compatible manifolds....??

I am curious as to what turbo manifolds are out there for the d16y8 in an EJ8 that are a/c compatible. I currently have the ebay drag knockoff cast one and it is not easily a/c friendly. I had to pull mine out or run a tiny DP which I didn't want to do

Are there any out there that are not as expensive as the love-fab ones?

Any help would be appreciated, these 90-something degree, humid as hell days in chicago traffic are getting old

There is always the log manifold. There are some ram horn manifold that are ac friendly too. It more like what type of manifold you want and your budget.

Yep. I wanted to switch out to a ram horn eventually, but I'm gonna stick with my log because I want to keep my ac. Sucks because I have to run a tiny DP aswell since the bend comming off the turbo is right by the AC. Would it be possable to weld a 3 inch pipe right after the bend back to the mid pipe, and then weld in another pipe at the top of the DP and have it collect into the Back of the DP? WIll it be effective? I just re-read this, and it sounds confusing, but maybe someone will get what I'm trying to say.

There are some sponsor that make some AC manifold like SpoolinPerformance, RLD-Fab, SLS, etc. Give them a pm'd and I'm sure they'll gladly help you out.

Turbo is forced induction. Even nitrious and supercharger are forced induction. So that forced induction sponsor links is for anything boost/nitrious related including turbo manifold

I know a turbo is forced induction is, but that link wasn't the sponsor thread, just the regular FI forum. Unless I had a brain fart

Yeah it's hard to try and find one. Sometimes it's not because of the downpipe issue, but moreso because the turbo sits far out, and hits the condensor. That's what happened to me. Although I have a 97 LS.

I had to take all that **** out, and guess what? I'm still not turbo. I'm selling my manifold etc. And buying back the a/c components, and hopefully get me a blox. I'm not sure if they make the blox for a d-series though. There will be some notch grinding but i don't care. As long as I have a/c back in that bitch. I regret ever taking out the a/c. I've done more damage to my car than good. I should have really searched before buying a manifold. But the dude said it was a/c compatible. Yes it was, but if it hits the damn condensor, that doesn't sound a/c compatible to me.

Sorry I'm a little pissed.

Same here bro, I pulled all my a/c stuff but I still have it so it is a matter of putting it back in and recharging the system. But, I don't want to give up boost. With my current mani it was the compressor in the way of the dp I will find something hopefully soon

RCautowerks is based out of chicago. they make custom manifolds and can make you an a/c one. i've dealt with them before and they are pretty cool guys. you might want to contact them. they also post on here from time to time so if you want you can search for their posts to get more info.
