Indicaters of a slipping clutch???
i need to know the indicaters of having a slipping clutch why?? because my second gear falls back when i shift during 7 thousand rpms to around 4-5 thousand rpms...i have a act 6 puck no sprung and the lightest act flywheel...and i do spin tires a little and the clutch does hit hard during then...i would appreciate any info you guys might have not just a yes or no answer.. i would like more in depth answers. and or is it just normal?

What motor and transmission?
But what you described is normal when you upshift. The rpms drop back down when you shift to a higher gear.
Slipping occurs when the rpms go up but you're not accelerating.

How long have you had that clutch set up? If your clutch is slipping your acceleration would be kinda slow while your rpm are moving up rather quickly. You should be able to tell/feel like if there is some lag. but did it do this before or after the ACT setup? In your case it is more likely due too the light ACT flywheel. That flywheel sacrifices inertia loss for very quick throttle response. so that is the reason your rpms drop so low. you gotta shift quicker
Thats just my thought. hope that helps.

Hey man, nothing wrong with an F22! haha
Do what Steveo said and put it into 5th and floor it and you will see. If the rpms go up and you really aren't moving, time for a new clutch. That's what I did to test out my clutch.

when i put it in fifth the rpm and speed gauge are evenly normal...when i hit the gas its response is still very strong and picks up speed quickly..i was thinking traction problems and now i know it is...cause my shifts are faster then the blink of an eye so it must be the tires..thanks everyone.
