ball joints tie rod need advice

Default ball joints tie rod need advice

i went to an alinement shop today and they said they couldnt do my alinement because my tie rod were jacked up. i guess that whats explain why the wheels goes with the grove of the roads and my wheels were gettin chewed up pretty quick. then he told me that my lower ball joints were jacked up also. i saw this kit on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW i was wondering has anyone use this before and can i change everything myself thank u

I doubt anybody has used that kit...

If I were you, I would find exactly what you need and just go to autozone or something and buy that.. atleast then you know youre getting decent parts. The suspension components are pretty easy, so you should be able to do it youtrself.

I replaced my outer tie rod ends with factory OEM Honda parts. They came with new ball joints.

The lower ball joints will have to be pressed out/in, so it's not really a DIY thing. I had a shop do it, and they used parts from a company that also supplies Honda.

I don't know if I would trust all those parts for that cheap of a price. I purchased new upper control arms w/ ball joints off eBay for $65 + shipping for the pair, and I'm already having a problem with one of the ball joints making nasty noises when I turn the wheel.

if it were me i'd go with oem honda for the peice of mind and for oem fitment. not ebay unknown parts ssautochrome turbo kit style

is the tie rod a two piece or one piece and how much am i looking to pay for both side from honda?

In the picture on the eBay auction, the outer tie rods are the 2 bent arms at the upper right corner. The inner tie rods are directly beside that to the left.

I paid about $32 each + shipping from Baranco Acura for each outer tie rod.
