Cool, another NC EP3er
I just got mine about 2months ago, it's def. a fun little car. Not nearly as fast or anything vs. my previous cars, but as a DD it's a great little package.
Register at EPhatch.com if ya get a chance. It's a great site w/ a bunch of how to's and service info on the EP3.
Enjoy the car
Oh, and if you get an intake...give me your old airbox! lol I dont like my short ram intake I got.

Apexi intake is a great buy at $95. looks cool and adds some power. few pics on a buddys car.
my friend even add a super grounding system underneath his intake.

how loud is that apex'i? also, do you know of any dyno sheets showing expected gains, as in does leaving half of the piping original plastic help heat soak etc.?
btw about ephatch.com.... Ive tried to register repeatedly for about a month now, even tried another email address. it says in a member but i never recieve a confirmation email. whats the problem?

sorry haven't seen any dyno sheets on the intake. plus when we installed that intake, we also did j's racing headers, apexi Gt spec exhaust, toda flywheel, and hondata manifold spacer... car was loud.
I had the same problem on EPHATCH, as did a lot of new EP3 owners. I never managed to hear back from them, but my issue was solved after I emailed the webmaster with my log in name and email address as well as a couple of alternative email address I could be reached at.
Not sure why the auto-registration emails arent going out, but just hit up the webmaster here
http://www.ephatch.com/forum/sendmessage.php
and in a week or so the problem should be solved. Though dont expect to be notified
just keep trying to log in each day until it works.

That is because the older AEM cold air intakes are really cold air intakes for the older models while the AEMV2 for the EP it is actually a short ram that sucks hot air & is expensive...but I have to agree that AEM cold air intakes are really good for the old models...
