Default Just Picked up my ep3!

I finally picked my ep3 , and so far im loving it. its 10 x's the car my ek was. i think for 12900, i got a pretty good deal on it.Its an '05 with 27k miles on it. I was also wondering if anyone had any experience with the intake that apex'i offers? I think its the powershot or something like that?

Cool, another NC EP3er

I just got mine about 2months ago, it's def. a fun little car. Not nearly as fast or anything vs. my previous cars, but as a DD it's a great little package.

Register at EPhatch.com if ya get a chance. It's a great site w/ a bunch of how to's and service info on the EP3.

Enjoy the car

Oh, and if you get an intake...give me your old airbox! lol I dont like my short ram intake I got.

Apexi intake is a great buy at $95. looks cool and adds some power. few pics on a buddys car.

my friend even add a super grounding system underneath his intake.

Does that piping come with it? I thought the apexi intake was jsut a cone filter.

BTW nice ep3 man, nice to see someone from NC.

Yeah, i felt the lack of ep3' around g-boro was a problem, so I went out to fix it
how loud is that apex'i? also, do you know of any dyno sheets showing expected gains, as in does leaving half of the piping original plastic help heat soak etc.?

btw about ephatch.com.... Ive tried to register repeatedly for about a month now, even tried another email address. it says in a member but i never recieve a confirmation email. whats the problem?

congradulation on the new ride, a lot of ep3 owners swear by the injen cold air intake.

I had the same problem on EPHATCH, as did a lot of new EP3 owners. I never managed to hear back from them, but my issue was solved after I emailed the webmaster with my log in name and email address as well as a couple of alternative email address I could be reached at.

Not sure why the auto-registration emails arent going out, but just hit up the webmaster here
http://www.ephatch.com/forum/sendmessage.php

and in a week or so the problem should be solved. Though dont expect to be notified just keep trying to log in each day until it works.

Nice ride. I personally went with the AEM V-2. AEM has worked great with all of my other EG and my DC2 so thats why I went with the V-2.

That is because the older AEM cold air intakes are really cold air intakes for the older models while the AEMV2 for the EP it is actually a short ram that sucks hot air & is expensive...but I have to agree that AEM cold air intakes are really good for the old models...
