You have to bypass the Bose system in order for it to work or you would need a high-low inverter and tag that to speaker lines. The Bose system sucks *** anyways, I would just rip everything out and upgrade
If you are using a line-level to RCA, you have to grab the signal from the bose sub in the trunk. The Amp has a built in crossover and sends all low freq to the sub and mids and highs to the interiors.
You have 2 choices. open up the sub and grab the signal from 2 of the wires (+ and -) going to the sub itself (after the amp) if you are using the line-level to RCA.
or
Cut the RCA ends off of one side and find the signal wires that are going to the bose unit and tap them in. It is in a 4 pin plug that is on top of the unit. I believe the signal wires are the thinner ones.

Its better to get the signal before the sub. The reason is that you do not want the x-over point for the factory sub to play to your new sub. You would only be able to x-over that point or lower. So if your x-over point is above the factory you will be screwed. I would look into get a aftermarket headunit or grab a jl audio cleansweep if you stuck on the factory headunit. I allways end up tossing out the factory bose system on the rsx. It will sound bettery with aftermarket speakers anyway. The factory speakers are not going to be able to keep up.
