They really do not fit. :D I picked up a 4dr hood for $13 yesterday, and it is too long. It overhangs the headlights by almost an inch. But, it will work for me until I get a new hood.


The hood stop needs to be lowered on the passanger side.





Plus the part numbers dont match up, but for $13 I needed something.

 

well, at least we know that they dont fit now. i've asked this question before, some people said it will, some said it wont, so now i know it wont.

Your car looks sweet when i cover up your front end with my hand on my monitor. Nice though, makes me want to trade my crx for a civic h/b. Just see it as this, you proven the fact that it doesn't fit, now everyone can say..."hey, kbslacker tried it, it doesn't work!"

 

hahahahahahaha I did the same thing when I installed my jdm front and didn't have a hood cause I sold my orginal front end to some kid who crashed his car. Then I found a jdm sir hood for a $100 and finally I threw the 4 door one away. Dont't hink I drove my car with the 4 door hood cause I didn't, it looked too silly to me.

Yeah, it does look silly. But I am tired of letting my car sit. It has been out of commision for almost 6 months. If this ****** didnt rip me off, my car would be finished. Oh well, the joys of dealing with people over the internet.

yeah!!!. i got a guy here that wants it but he's taking a bit to long to get 100.00 together (3mos.). if you either willing to drive down here and get it..or pay theshipping cost i can box it up. so 100.00 plus shipping or p/u.

 

I saw a DX sedan at the junkyard the other day in good shape. But it wasn't like any 4th gen civic I've seen. The stock cloth seats were a little nicer than other DX ones I've seen. The whole seatbelt assembly was different and most was connected to the seats. The lower belt and the one that goes across were seperate. Also the side molding looked different, and the front part of the hood where the front emblem is was shorter with a black plastic piece going across there. Is this stuff normal, because I'm not used to seing sedans. Anyway I want to use these seats, will they fit the hatchback?

 

If you're in houston I have a free hood for you..just come pick it up.

 

Bah, all these cheap, or free hoods are so far away. :D


91efzc I will pass on that hood. I can get a OEM replacement for $95 shipped. I just have to make the 45 mile drive to order it. So unless you want to match that, Im going to pass.
