I'd appreciate this information to if anyone has it...

Grenada black and 90+ degree summers don't mix with me, I think I'll live with the extra weight.

A/C is for women! Remove it, and sweat your nutz off like the rest of the hybrids on this board!

My car didn't come with A/C or P/S. Ah the joys of having a VX.

You will need the one that was designed for your car. The plumbing is specific to your car. So any a/c from a 92-95 Civic will do.

If you want the compressor, condensor, lines and everything else to bolt up right, then get a/c designed for your car. You can always fabricate it to fit, anything is possible.

I have a VX with the GSR engine, the stock AC compressor doesn't fit the GSR AC bracket. So I got a GSR compressor. The rest of the AC system is from my VX.

I have the full Integra A/C on my Hybrid. Only issue was routing the lines properly on the front of the lower radiator core. But nothing a 3/4" Pipe/Tube bender can't fix for you.... and a few brackets from a 92-95 Prelude for A/C lines.

BTW, the comparison between a Civic A/C & Integra's A/C, is the mass air flow it puts out. The Integra A/C in my car compared to a friend's Civic LX is way COLDER and blows more(running 134A).

Does any GSR compressor work? I'm planning on dropping a 2000 GSR setup into my EG and I heard that I would need the AC bracket and/or compressor from a 94-95 GSR or Delsol VTEC? What would I need in order to get working AC in an EG with a swap? And powersteering?

yes the gsr compressor will work.. you will need to get a del sol vtec ac braket or mount the compressor on w/ only 2 bolts instead of 4 you can EASILY have a/c and powersteering w/ any b series swap in an eg.. most people tend to take both out to save weight and space in the engine bay.. i plan on leaving the a/c and the p/s in my car once the swap is done so i dont have to deal w/ no ac..

as for making an a/c colder like someone said i think the coollant in the lines makes the most difference.. im gonna flush the a/c when i get the swap and get brand new r134 in there for a nice cold ac...

you will need to get a del sol vtec ac braket or mount the compressor on w/ only 2 bolts instead of 4 you can EASILY have a/c and powersteering w/ any b series swap in an eg..
DO NOT .... I repeat ... DO NOT use (2) bolts only !!! This is not good advice at all !!! (Unless you are just checking for clearence and so forth).

If you use only (2) bolts the stress of the belt and the pulley will rip the condenser and bracket apart, I've seen this too many times !!! Please go out and get the right bracket the first time around.

lol thanks man.. ive heard of that also happen 1 time i know its not recommended but it was just an idea... dont do everyone unless you absolutly need to..

yes the bracket is about 150 shipped, you can also get them from jdmhondaparts.com but it is well worth it to keep the ac in your hybrid..
