the lip i',m getting is black looks smooth i was just going to buy dupli color spray the same as my car and paint it will it last or be decent i just won't. wax those parts future should be fine right

You won't last or be decent? Both of those are mostly up to you. If you want to last, you can; if you want to be decent, you can too.

I've never heard 3 months before. I always tell my customers no wax for 30 days.

 

Make sure you use an adhesive promoter. You might want to just get a can of paint mixed up at a auto supply shop. It will hold up better than the Duplicolor and should match better if they have the coputer that reads you paint.
