Busted with air intake does anyone have carb numbers or paper please.

Busted? What did you get busted with?

 

You live in Garden Grove and they made you pop your ish! I live in Huntington Beach I got my hood popped just like 3 weeks ago. The cop ran my block looked at FPR looked @ my headers. He even asked me how much I payed for my CFhood. He sayed he pulled me over for my car being to low and no front plate but he never gave me a ticket my neighbor is a cop I told him that I talk my car over there to make sure it's the legal ride height he said ok you can go! Are you going to have to go to a ref?

 

It's illegal, unless it has a carb exemption number. You should just borrow an exempt intake from a friend, and get it signed off. If you have to go to the ref, you need to take off the FPR and anything else that's not carbed. If you have a swap that's not registered, you might just want to pay the bail when you receive it in the mail. First offense should be 50-100 bucks.

 

It happened to me and the cop was a "-----"! saying that It was not a correctable ticket, and he also said that it was a big @ss fine(couple hundred bucks).So I asked my neighbor cop , and he said to get it written off at the CHP before I went to court. Thats what I did....and when I went to court to try to fight it..... the judge just asked me if I had gotten it taken care of?(while he was looking @ my ticket ,showing that it had been signed off)........ I said yes your HONOR .He said just go and pay the $10 around the corner. Good luck with yours!

 

i got a ticket for loud exhaust and all i have is a short ram intake, its bs

 

CA isnt Fairfax Everything has to have CARB numbers and ****. God I love TN

 

hell yeah, especially Shelby Co. w/ no inspection or smog testing (Davidson Co. TN does require these, which is why I did not register my car here ).
