Default suspension setup for 18"s

I've asked this earlier in the suspension forum, but want to get more results from fellow accord members. I am riding on 18"s tires 225/40zR18 and want to lower my car to gain performance and eliminate the gap. This is my daily driver so i'm looking for a spring&shock setup. Want to know what type of spring that wouldn't rub on the 18"s. I'm thinking of h&r sport or eibach sportlines/pro-kit. And what type of shocks would be good on these springs. I have some kyb gr-2 on my car right now, should i replace it with some agx or tokico ill? thanks

I've got a 94' Accord on 18s myself. Everyone I've talked to are having problems with rubbing the inner wheel well including myself, until i got spacers. That's what i recommend to prevent rubbing. Don't know about the shocks. I can say that my Neuspeed springs have treated me good.

Yous sure they're sports? H&R makes an OE sport that may work out better for you. if it's race you WILL be rubbing. i think my sports may be a bit too low. i'd shoot for eibachs. make sure you get new and DESCENT struts other wise they'll be blown in no time. w/ 18's your ride quality will get pretty bad on anything but smooth pavement. make sure your setup is mild at best. spacers are a big +.
