i need to remove the out side door handle on my 2000 2dr ls
dose any body know where i can find instruction how to do this
any imput would help
i have tried seaching but all i can find is inside door panels

 

remove the door panels-3 screws, one plastic near dash and one in the arm cup thing and the last is behind a flap on the handle assembly. pull at the bottom of the panel to free the clips. make sure theyre al unsnapped then lift the panel off. once you have the panel off youll see where the handle is and two rods. the lock cylinder rod(skinny rod) is clipped into a white thing.use a flat head to free the rod then remove the 10mm bolts on each side of the handle. work the handle out of the hole to the outside of the car along with the top of the big rod(threaded). now you can spin the handle to unsrew it from the rod. just look at it and youll get it.

 

yup exactly. Put some painters type around the handle on the outside to help shield the paint when working the door handle out. And enjoy.
