New to ht and just got some questions?
Hi, I'm new to this forum and I'm very excited. I recently turned 17 and on my way to get a 1998 integra gsr. I dont know a lot about cars but I do know that I would like to make sure to fix it up right meaning I want it to look good and be fast.
These two cars are the inspiration to my car, I would eventually like to make my car look like these.

First question: what modifications and how much will it take to make my car look like that?
and where and the best place to buy these parts?

I HOPE YOU HAVE A LOT OF MONEY TO SPEND...with money everything is possible and time is not a problem..but you may be looking at another 10 to 14K's on top of what you payed for you car...specially if you want to have it like the 1st car on top...DAMN THAT CAR IS MAD CLEAN....
I hope you're rich.
I'll start with the bottom car. I see Red Recaro seats. Evo Regamasters. USDM ITR front lip. JDM amber corner lights. The car is obviously lowered. Probably on full coilovers.
Everyone is going to tell you to search, but a few websites you might want to look at would be, Passwordjdm.com, jdmland.com, jdmshit.com.

First you are going to have to pick what you want it to look like. The first car has a JDM front with a mugen spoiler, the bottom car has a USDM front and no spoiler. They are 2 totally different looking cars. But good luck
being 17 honestly this is what i learned when i first got my integra at 18..
my friend, who has a built LSV, told me this the day i bought my car.
"its hard to be the fastest and look the greatest unless your a baller, if ur on a budget... pick 1 route and achieve it."
well i kept it simple and clean, i droped my car, got a itr wing and new rims and added ITR side markers and now hes helping me with my motor project.

my acheivement
im really happy with where my car is, i do want a 98+ rear bumper though

I understand that these are different, I haven't really made up my mind if I want to do the japanese conversion or stay with the stock front. But I guess I'll just have to wait it out until I save enough money. I will look into Passwordjdm.com, jdmland.com, jdmshit.com see how much roughly all the parts I want will cost.
Thanks for the help guys

Just buy cheap wheels and lower it like 85% of all integra owners. If you don't know much, don't dive into something you can't handle. Your first pic is of a car with ITB's. If you even know that that stands for I'd find it hard that you could comprehend the involvement on your part it will take to build and maintain a car like that. Find a nice Integra, buy it (if you can), then do nice wheels and put money into a good suspension. That should leave you content with looks for a while. Then put your money where it matters. GL regardless

.
both are clean and sick as hell. first you gotta find the car you want, then go from there.

Well I'm in the same boat as you are. I'm 17 and in the middle of paying off my DB8 (chassis code for a 4 door GSR). I have my route set out for me already since I've had more than enough time to think about what I want to do.
I'm going to repolish my blades (wheels 1.8allmotormilitia has), lower it on Ground Control coilovers and Koni Yellows, and get an ITR rear sway bar with some kind of reinforcement kit (asr, beaks, or bsq). Then get an ITR lip and painted sides.
I've priced most of it, and in total this should all cost me around 200 for the wheels, 850 shipped for GC/Koni's, around 340 for the ASR/ITR rear sway kit, and I have absolutely no clue about paint and everything else. I'm hoping under 500?
But all in all, I think I have pretty reasonable goals, all achieved by keeping it clean and easy. Hopefully it helped you pull some reality into your build.

Where's the picture of the body kits...? lol, I see only JDM and OEM... =X Most of us are on a "budget" or dump our money on our Teg and live on Kimichi Bowls. I like the OEM style better then JDM simply because OEM is pretty much "stock" looking... sleeper FTW.

Yours either came w/ aftermarket or Euro/Australian OEM bumper lights. USDM 98-01 Integras had all-amber bumper lenses.
To the OP, your questions here are just way too general. You need to take some time and read up on threads around this site. Maybe go over to Team Integra http://www.team-integra.net and read some of their how-to articles and things like that. Another good thing is to get some repair manuals and do maintenance and other things on your car yourself.
I know my car pretty much inside and out, but it didn't happen overnight. In the 6 years I've owned my car, I've poked around and had pretty much everything apart at some point, aside from pulling the actual motor or tearing apart the internals. It takes time and experience to learn about your car.
I plan on pulling my engine later this year, and I don't forsee any problems. I've helped or watched friends do numerous Honda swaps before, and I pretty much know the whole process. That's a BIG thing, if you have friends who have alot of knowledge on these cars, help them do stuff, or at least hang around and watch what they do. That's how I gained alot of the knowledge on my car and Hondas in general.
Just take your time and do lots of reading and research.

Well first off welcome and good luck with the car...
Now to the OP. I noticed a few key factors in your statement that may help you with your final decision.
1. Youre 17. Cops are going to be looking for younger kids to pull over. They just need one little reason to pull you over. My advice is to not make the car stand out that much. Dont buy an extremely loud exhaust or anything like that. Also, Im assuming that this is your first car as well. Get used to the GSR. Drive it for a while and then mod accordingly. Im not saying its the fastest car in the world but by all means it is quick and you are unexperienced. The last thing you want to do is spend your hard earned money and then crash it cuz u couldnt handle it or didnt know how to.
2. "I dont know a lot about cars". Learn from others. Be a flashlight bitch for a while and get to know what is what and where **** is. This way when its time to do work on your car, youll most likely not screw up anything and you'll be glad you didnt. Also, go to meets. Usually theres cool people there that will shoot the **** with you and youll learn something.
3. Stick to a low budget. I dont know much about your finaces but dont dip all of your money in your car. I wish I hadnt. For the money I/H/E isnt really going to give you that much gain. If you want to eventually make your car fast, save up for a turbo. But for now, in the mean time, my best advice to you is do suspension work. A nice set of coils or like a KYB AGX and Eibach setup is always nice. And if youd like a nice set of rims to go along and youd be pretty amazed at how your car feels and drives compared to stock.
Let me know how everything works out?
Also, how much is the car your looking to buy/miles?
Im interested cuz im selling mine soon.

3000 I'll believe that when I see it. Damn that's almost as big as the NOPI Nationals in Atlanta, and that takes up an entire motor speedway oval's infield area.

Wow, so many suggestions. Well first off, thank you guys. You are slowly helping me with this car and for the time being I will probably just do a lot of research to make sure I do it right and I want to make up my mind with how I'm going to do it.
thanks for all the tips PatrickGSR94
I haven't looked into any cars yet, I'm just going to start to look at some.
and slammedDC2 I'm not sure how long of a drive it will be all the way from Fort Lauderdale but wow 3000 cars is insane. I just moved here from Texas so I don't know my way around.

Last year they had about a month to plan and had about 500 show up, this year they have had a year, and it is posted on aver 50 websites. With everyone that is signed up they should come somewhere close to that number.
OP...being in FL is a little bit of a drive, but people from FL are signed up to come and have organized a caravan. There are also people from as far as california signed up. A friend of mine is coming from Colorado springs.
