Can anyone recommend a good (and hopefully inexpensive) wheel repair shop in the Bay Area (East Bay, South San Francisco, South Bay) to fix scratches, dings, peeled off clearcoat? I need wheel refinishing work.

good work from what i have seen/heard but a lil on the pricey side.

honestly man..if u have some extra time then i would just learn how to refinish them yourself. there are some great DIY links here.

if u have bends that need repair then i recommend going to a shop to fix those first.

 

Wheels America has a location in Union City, just south of Hayward.

 

Rite Way Wheels in Walnut Creek have always been the place I take for bent rim repairs and simple polishing of lips....

Very inexpensive and quality work

 

How much does Rite Way Wheels charge to refinish an alloy wheel? Wheel has scratches, clearcoat peeled off in areas, minor curbing.

I just called them on sat. Rite Way Wheels are closed sat, sun, mon and only open tues - fri. 8:30-4:30.

yup and..

i have called repair shops several times and they all told me the same thing: please bring your wheels down for estimate.'

 

My wheels are oem acura integra 15" mesh wheels. Is there any place in the bay area that can refinish 4 wheels for $400?

wow..i would just get new oem replicas, or better condition wheels or rotas for that cost, man. just resell your wheels for a couple hundred.not worth to refinish it.

I have looked in to replicas and refinished oem wheels. Replicas are under $100 each but I don't know about the quality and how strong they are structurally. Refinished oem wheels are $650 - $750 for a set of 4 and do not come with center caps which are another $100 for just the center caps.
