Ok so I have had this Tech5 coil over kit since 2000 and it has been nothing but great to me. I just always wondered where they got their springs and struts from...since I heard they were just painted and rebadged "bigger company" units? Any info would help especially spring rates and strut info?

Most of the suppliers who don't manufacture their own products purchase from Chinese or Taiwanese manufacturers. If you do some comparisons between company photos and the supplier photos on http://www.alibaba.com/ you can often find the manufacturers of the auto parts such companies sell. This takes some time but we've been able to nail down a few of them. So it's not necessarily an alteration of a larger company, they are potentially buying from the same supplier as a larger name. After communications with some of the Chinese manufacturers it was noticed that the profit margin on these parts are huge by the way.
