I was wanting to know what ecu i should go with when i boost my 1992 ex accord, i am going to have it professionally tuned on a dyno, what ecu would be best for setup, i will be running about 7 psi or 8 psi

personnally i'd boost an h22 and run a chipped (Chrome) P28 on a h22 map....but all in all run with the Chipped P28 for the f22....the p13 is more expensive to chip and also is set for dual cam vtec from the start

yeah you can boost an h22, resleeve block and all that good stuff, the f22a has a iron sleeves and has a whole better head, definetly a lot more free flowing, and i have a free turbo kit, so hahah, and i bought my accord for 300 dollars, got a manual conversion for a 100 bucks, and motegi 17 in. rims for some paint and a hood, so i really dont have **** invested. Or could spend the money 7000 dollars and buy a prelude and turbo kit, that wouldnt even get me a good lookin prelude, all thats wrong with my accord is it needed a new bumper fender and hood, so hmmm...... and its a two door, very rare, so yeah you boost ur h22

Good point....your doin a non-vtec 4g motor....a not b :kicks self in ***:.....I know the f22 has iron sleeves....with a thick metal headgasket you could find some mad boost levels for that motor....but consider runnning a 5g sohc vtec head....honestly thats a better bet because i dont know many options to chip the non-vtec ecu's....if you were to stay with a non-vtec head you'd be pressured in the way of a stand-alone unit....which can get pretty price'y....just try the vtec head swap and see where you come out with that....P28's normally run about $120 on ebay....chipping $50 - $150 sometimes...f22b shoc vtec head $250-$450....you could really keep this under $500 if you really tried....and there is plenty of how-to's about this swap here on HT.

No offense for the H-series post up there....I've been there and done that with the F-series...lol....hope this helps
