aight guyz, i just picked up an 89 civic dx earlier this week, and today, i noticed a knockin/rattling sound when i shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, and i also noticed if i try to start the car right after i turned it off, the engine doesnt wanna start.


for the 1st problem i was told it could be a bearing problem in the tranny, and the second problem i was told it could be the igniter coil. although i have no idea about either, please let me know if any of u have had a similiar problem or know what my problems are? thanx.
