A) Tech related questions dont go in the Appearance/Cosmetic forum.
B) In addition to the belt, check compressor and/or compressor clutch for noise. R12 and R134a systems require oil to be added to the refrigerant. I would replace the belt first, and if that doesnt solve the problem, take your car to a certified AC repair garage and have them evacuate/recharge the AC system. If problem still persists, replace AC compressor.
