One of the guys I sold an engine to is doing the swap, and had a connector left over near the intake manifold area.

Is there a sensor that is on the HF that is not on the B16?? I don't know what he is talking about and I haven't seen it personally, so any ideas would be helpful. Thanks dudes ..........

 

i think the HF harness is the same as the Si, and i had a connector left over w/ my b16 swap, right under the intake manifold

 

yeah, it's the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve.
The B16 doesn't have that.

Si's don't have it either... It's an HF only thing.

 

um. my 1990 Si has that same plug just chillin after my swap.
