b16a in crx si has a loss of power... help me out
i have a b16a in an 88 crx... the dizzy locked up to when i removed it i could barely spin it.... well i replaced it with the same one that came out of it and after that i noticed a huge loss of power. i had the dizzy centered when i put it in so i tried adjusting that to see if it helped and it did a lil but still a lot lost. what should i do to fix this situation, cuz now that i advanced the dizzy a lil im loosing so much money in gas cuz its just eatin it.. i greatly appreciat any help. thanks
take off the dizzy. remove the cap.
rotate your motor to TDC
then rotate the rotor to upper right corner(facing the rotor)
put it back on. then put cap back on. then get a timing gun, and do your timing.
THIS IS TO ENSURE IT SPARKS in the right order. 1/4/3/2 and not 3/2/1/4
