Mechanic botched up my wheel(s)
OK, I have a wheel question (or maybe just a request for an opinion):
I recently bought new tires and had a shop mount them for me. Problem is when I went to loosen up the lug nuts to finish up another project I was working on, they wouldn't come off. One of the lug nuts was slightly damaged.
I took it to a friend's house who has an impact wrench. He told me that he would set it at the highest setting he has (approx 120 psi) and that with the particular gun he had it would put down about 160-170 ft lbs and that should def get those lugs off...well. It sorta worked. I ended up destroying all the lugs (but they came off) and one still will not come off (the one that was already slightly damaged)!! At 160-170 ft lbs and it still didn't come off, I'm thinking that this was def put on by some joker (I know the individual who did the work) that got trigger happy with the impact wrench.
Question is...how do I get that last lug off? Or should I just take it back to the dimwit who torqued them down too hard and tell him to figure it out?

oh hell no. I'm just gonna take it back to the numbnutz who put it on there. If he breaks it then he'll have to replace it.

Hey, just wanted to update, in case anyone cared....
I finally got this thing off...you can see which one does not belong (that one was put on by an impact wrench:

...and as opposed to chiseling it off (I discovered that that wouldn't really work, here's what did work, just FYI:

A little welding, and an impact wrench (and a HUGE *** bolt), and she should come off
