Ok so im about to buy a 1996 civic coupe with 2000 body conversion and jdm b16... the car is primered black and the guy tells me all it needs is paint and AIC valve... hes asking 3k is it worth it? and what the hell is a AIC valve... and is it expensive.. the price seems great to me

i would porbaly do it, the motor and conversion alone are woth more than than. the AIC i beilive is the idle air control valve that is on the back of the intake manfiold

thats exactly what im saying... the motor alone is worth a good amount and it doesnt smoke or leak i just wanted to know if that aic valve is expensive i just wanna know what kind of price im looking at to buy this valve so i can offer the guy or not

If the body is clean the swap doesnt look cobbled together, I would do it.

If the swap looks like ****, I would pass. Odds are, you will be chasing gremlins for a very long time.

yea the body is clean no rust at all but how much you think the aic valve costs?
