when i'm driving my car sometimes the speedo starts to jump. for example, when i'm at about 6500 RPMs it will just start swinging back and forth. it only does it at high RPM though. i'll be going 60 and it will jump to about 80 or 90 until i shift. and then it will do it again at the top of the next gear. its weird, anybody know why it would do this?

 

Check all grounds to your wiring.

 

check your spped sensor to make sure it is in all the way

 

yeah thats what i was thinking, that the plug was probably loose or something. i have to pull the harness as soon as i get it back from the paint shop anyway so hopefully its all fixed when put the new harness in.
