Default how many quarts

I searched and didnt find this answer. How many quarts of oil should be put in a ITR engine? and on the dip stick the oil level should be between the two holes? The reason I asked this is because I had a place change my oil and they filled it pass the top hole on the dip stick, hopefully they did not over fill it. thanks

It takes 4.2 quarts to change the oil, including changing the filter.

The distance between the two dots is a difference of one quart. As long as the oil level is anywhere between the two dots, you're okay (but it's better to keep it near the top dot to reduce the chances of it getting too low). I wouldn't worry if it's 1/4 quart overfilled (IOW, if it's over the top dot by 1/4 the distance between the two dots), but I would consider draining some if it's overfilled by 1/2 quart or more.
