i have a 97ex coupe and i swamped my d16y8 to a b16a2. my vtec is not working fist of all my other engine was vtec so i don't know why the computer is not vtec go in. but the problem is i have check engine going on and off is giving me a code,but i don't know what code is or how to read codes i don't know what else to do oh and it dosent let me rev my car more than 7gran i dont know why maybe because the soch ecu and know i have a doch i don't know i need help if any1 can help me out i really appriciate!!!!

 

First off, I'm pretty sure you need the b16 ecu. Second, you can always check to see what code it's throwing. Look on top of the threads. It's easy as ****.
