WTT: testing waters on a 2000 yzf600r, maryland
looking for a trade for my bike. i need a car, and it must be mechanically sound and preferably pass safety inspection. id prefer civics or integras, must be standard transmission. dont have much extra cash, so i can pretty much only do a straight up trade.
as for the bike...
its a 2000 yzf600r. its in fairly good shape. clear title. its been laid down before, but it does not effect the structural integrity of the bike.
It has 14k+ miles. it runs very good, and is very fast. just as fast as most 600's on the street. got a synthetic oil change, brand new chain, sprockets and tires 1000 miles ago. i got a perfect fender for inspection purposes, plus a modified fender. it also has a vance and hines titanium slip on and some form of jet kit from the previous owner.
Only problem with the bike is that the key has a hard time switching from off to lock. it does not stop the bike from being started and driven, just isnt a good idea to switch to lock.
I just bought a mint ignition wtih 5k miles plus the whole lock set off ebay. if i dont get around to getting the bike fixed in the mean time, i'd let it go for a lil bit cheaper. If I were to sell this bike outright, i'd like to get 3000 firm.
