When the motor was cutting out the power completely and then coming right back on-line after a couple seconds, I figured it must be the distributor as this is a common problem with integras.
I installed a brand new Distributor King distributor, new Acura wires, and new plugs. It runs fine on the street, but after about 4 laps or so at VIR, same thing happens.
All power is lost and the check engine light stays on and is solid. Not other lights in the dash come on. If I lift throttle and get back on it, then all power is completely restored. The CEL does not stay on.
I was able to data-log one of those sessions so I will upload that to Hondata's forum, however, when looking through the recording, I could not find any codes being stored.
Could a MAP sensor or perhaps a TPS sensor cause this?
Check my sig for setup and parts used.

Only cold boost cut I believe...
I will check my calibration (S300).
I will check my calibration (S300).
load the datalogs on the Hondata's forum and I will look.
Or just put the cursor on the graph where it looks like fuel is being stopped then flip over to the sensors tab and look for the BstC sensor. check to see if it is on.

I uploaded all of the datalogs except the last one which is probably the one I want to upload. The file is too large though.
My calibration has a boost cut at 9 psi. I have the Motorvations 7.5 psi pulley on the motor with the Jackson Charger. Is 9 psi normally seen with this, at least in spikes? Or is something wrong?

This happens only under boost correct?
It looks like all of the datalogs posted never enter boost or go over 3000rpm for that matter.
If that other datalog is better send it to C427@yahoo.com

None of the symptoms are shown in that datalog either, but there are a few places which reach about 8.4psi, which still makes be believe that it is a boost cut issue.
when you are on the track under what conditions has this happened?
Full Throttle?
What RPM?
Coming out of a corner?

Sometimes Shortly after / sometimes not at all after coming out of a corner, full throttle, over at least 5k rpm.
Sometimes I can redline whatever gear I am in, upshift, get on the gas, and then it happens.... So I think you might be right on the boost cut.
On my old tune, this never happened... I seriously doubt there was a boost cut though. The first tuner did not do a good job (still had S200 at that piont).
After I got the S300, got a new tune, then tracked the car for the first time.. This is when I experienced it.
Coud it be the temperature cutting it?
My air temps are pretty high since I don't have an intercooler.

If you are going to track it again soon I would just bump up the boost cut to 9.5psi or so and see if it continues. If it does, try and get a datalog when it is happening.
With the info given I am positive it's boost cut.

I will be going out again in less than a month, so time will tell. Thanks for your help. This has been driving me crazy for 4 months now.
