Default * * *93 Civic Hatch with LS swap...CHEAP!* * *

SOLD!!!!

I've got a 1993 Civic hatch with a B18B swap for sale. I've put way too much money into this car for the amount it was driven, but my parents bought me a 2001 Miata for my college graduation. So I've had this car sitting in my parking space wasting a parking spot for the past month, and need to get rid of!

As you can tell from the photos, the molding has been shaved (not all warpy like many), and has a brand new paint job (Lexus IS300 graphite grey pearl 1C6). Some other things include new lights (front and rear, with most expensive bulbs I could find), engine swap (done by Janer performance), "Type R" style racing seats that suck but do the trick, new Rota Slipstream style rims with tires (less than 600 miles, honestly), brand new stock exhaust system, list goes on...

Here's a list of all (most of) the things I've put into it:

93 Civic Hatch- bought bone stock 2 years ago- $1800
2 brand new fenders: $250 after shipping
BRAND NEW factory exhaust sytem: $479 installed (have receipt)
Smoked head lights with amber corners: $110
Rear tail lights: $100
Paint Job: $1100 (have receipt: Was done by Maaco, signature package. However, one of my good friends worked there and spent an extra 20+ man hours doing the body work and performed one of the best Maaco paint jobs I've seen!)
Brand New exhaust system: $479 installed (have receipt)
Type R style seats: $300
New Cluster: $90 off Honda-Tech

ENGINE
B18B engine- $1200 for swap, not including $100's on new parts. Engine has been completely rebuilt by myself and g/f's dad, who's an ASE + HONDA CERTIFIED MECHANIC. We replaced all gaskets, seals, bearings, plugs, spark plug wires, timing belt, water pump, Cometic head gasket, etc...
B18B Tranny- from 2001 integra, very low miles, shifts perfect.
XTC Stage 3 clutch + 10 Lb. flywheel: $300

I got the engine swapped in when I moved out to Cali by Janer Performance at the cost of $815. He is a Honda-Tech member, and did an excellent + clean job.

THE BAD

1.CAR IS NOT RUNNING. About a month ago (right after I got a new exhaust installed), I pulled out onto my street and 20 ft later, the rpm's dropped and stalled. I pushed it back to my parking space, and it's been there ever since. The engine is not blown, but I don't know what's wrong with it. 2 days later my parents surprised me with a new car, and lost interest in trying to figure out what's wrong with it/fixing it. It's probably something simple, but I don't know. Therefore, it will need to be towed away.

2. It's initially a Vermont car. Therefore, it has some rust under the hood. The body had minor rust on it before the body was redone, but now it's perfect. There's only some minor rust under the hood/body.

3. The hood is twisted and doesn't close perfectly. When I got a new paint job, I had a different used hood put on because the previous hood was full of dents beyond repair. My friend had another one kicking around and used it. However, it doesn't fit perfectly, and doesn't close right all the way. I didn't care because I was planning on getting a new CF hood. So you will probably want a new hood.

4. Needs axle (clicks right now)

Once this car is fixed, it will be fun! When it was running, the car was great! Ran smooth, shifted perfect, handled great, and was a hell of a lot faster than my new Miata!

Honestly, THIS CAR + $500-$1000= PERFECT RUNNING/LOOKING QUICK HATCH

As you can see this car has about $7000 into it, not even including many of the extra parts I've bought like new mounts, boots, seals, etc. I'd guess it's about $8000 in all.

SELLING TODAY FOR $1500, $1700 w/Rota's.

PLEASE TO NOT IM ME LOWBALL OFFERS. PRICES ARE FIRM. I WILL NOT PART OUT. NO TRADES PLEASE.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TOWING AWAY FROM MY APARTMENT...

I'm located in North Hollywood, CA...

Yes, this car is legit. Not a stolen engine, car, etc. I have title in hand with VIN numbers for car + tranny.

If you are looking for an $8000 hatch for dirt cheap, and have some basic mechanical skills, you've found the right thread!

For any additional info...PM ME.... VTcivicEG...I have Vouches

Here are a few pics, however, they don't really do the car justice. They were taken with my camera phone, and the car hasn't been washed in a month and has been collecting all kinds of pollen.

The rust isn't really that bad, mainly just the bolts and clamps under the hood. An example of the rust is around the where the strut is under the hood. Completely typical for a Vermont car...
