Went to start my engine for the first time after the swap. The starter solenoid was making the clicking noise, but the starter wasn't starting the engine. Thinking that the battery was weak I hooked up a batttery charger. After an hour or so the battery was charged up. I left the charger hooked up and tried starting the engine again. The engine didn't rotate, but I did notice when I tried starting the engine the amp meter on the charger pegged out.

So I'm thinking that the engine is seized up. I removed the starter and spark plugs and tried to rotated the crankshaft pulley. It didn't move at all. Now what so I do. Has anyone had this problem with their engine swap? Should I be able to turn the crankshaft pulley?

 

yeah with 17mm you should be able to turn the bolt holding the pulley on

 

Any ideas on what is causing the engine not to rotate?

 

you should try lifting weights or your engine is seized

 

Are you sure the timing is right?
The H22 has 2 blance shafts are you sure something isnt wrong with them also
and if worse comes to worse you may have to take off the oil pan and see if theres anything wrong... after that its ur descision
