Which is better K20A or K20Z???????
it all depends on what you're trying to accomplish and where you're going. what is your goal is basicly what it boils down to. Kind of need more explanation here.
why would you want to spend a lot more money on a k20z1 when it's roughly the same as a k20a2 just a little more better parts then A2. K20A it is a powerful motor but then again.. why would you want to spend a lot of money just to swap to a k20A just for an extra what 20hp? You have a k20a2 and they make plenty of power and if you go turbo (get a rightfully sized turbo) you can make a good amount of power stock. What are your plans with turbo? Staying stock, fully built?
*edit* dude i can't help but to keep looking over at that cartoon avatar, even tho it's a cartoon it's kinda funny.

if your gonna go boost it doesent really matter what motor you have if anything the k20a is the worst for boost because of the higher compression and smaller crank pulley. to sum it all up you dont need a different motor to make power on boost

Agreed! If you are going for boost. Your best bet will be to purchase a set of lower compression pistons for you K20a2. The K20a2 is no different from the K20a except the k20a has higher compression. Also if you were to get the K20z1 you would have issues with getting KPRO to work properly. They have not worked out all the bugs for the newer Si and Type S's.
well all you would need is a different wire harness and an 02-04 ECU to connect k-pro to an 05 type s i have an 02 type s with a k20z1 with k-pro running just fine and i didnt need to change the harness because its an 02 but the only reason i went with the k20z1 is because i blew my motor and got a killer deal on the k20z1
