Default Portable GPS Mounting

Just got a late b-day gift yesterday, it was a Garmin Nuvi 360. I'm a gadget freak and loved the features (saved me from buying that new JVC 3.5" unit with a navi).

My problem is, where is it legal to mount this and where have you mount yours? Our windshield is only so big, and I found only limited areas that are not so obstructive. Thanks!

Best place would be on this mount.

I agree. Other than some expensive or risky (i.e.: dash cutting) modifications, I'd say this is the best one. I'm seriously considering this if I don't get that new JVC headunit with the Nav/DVD/CD Receiver. It's $800+

I Have a Nuvi 680 which is larger than the 360. What is the source for these brackets?

i had a nuvi 360 with the modifry mount and it worked great. it bounced around a bit since i had stiffer suspension but it was bareable. overall it was a great investment because i could take it off and on and wouldn't ahve to cut anything visible.
