Default h2b?

iv been doin research on the h2b, i see that there are a lot of little things that they suggest you do like removing the balance shaft, the alt relocation, the shaving of the crank pully, anyways i was wonderin if all these things are nessesary, i mean cant u just bash the frame in....btw i want to do the swap on my 96 hatch....so can anybody explain whatsabsolutely nessesary to do, i rather bash my frame than having to buy all types of kits to relocate alts and to remove shafts n stuff if u guys know what i mean, am on a tight bugget

i just did the swap in my 98 hatch. i shaved the crank pulley and i still had to bash the frame rail. also im using an alt. relocator kit. if you dont you have to bash the frame rail a lot for the stock to work. i dont even think i could use the stock on mine though.

Depends on which mounts, adapter kit, and alternator bracket you use.

It will vary from not needing it at all, to bashing in a cm or two probably.

Check out the Evolution Industries kit, which pretty much eliminates frame rail and hood clearance issues. If you have any questions just PM me and I can help answer them for you.
